I was lucky enough to answer a trivia question on Twitter and I received a Madden NFL Arcade (360) code. I will be passing it along to one of the readers of the Sports Game Guy.
To enter the giveaway simply comment on this post with your contact information and write a little bit about your sports gaming history. I will be announcing the winner on the 23rd. (This will give you enough time to sign up for our tournament!)

heres a little bit about my sports gaming history, i started gaming early when i was young about 6 or 7 years old, a while later i started getting into sports games like NBA and Madden and ever since ive enjoyed them (especially with some nice competion!)

Hey Kev, ya know me and all from a few of our Madden games. As far as my sports gaming history goes, well I guess I started with NHL 93, one of the best games I've ever played to date. Nothing like making Gretzky's head bleed.
I played the hell out of that series for years, always picking up the new NHL since then. I'm lucky enough today to be a bigger part of that community as a mod/community leader on the EA Sports Forums.
I'm also a big fan of Madden, and I've owned almost every version since 2000, maybe missing a season or two here or there. FIFA is another one of my favorite series, and I'm just recently getting into the NBA 2K line up as well.
I love the odd first person shooter, strategy, and action/adventure titles but it's the sports games that I keep the longest and keep me coming back for more and more throughout the year. Anyway, that's all bro, take it easy and hopefully we can get a Madden game soon.
My Sports gaming History is Im a Huge Fan of the Segas 2K games before Madden Took over and the Football licence became crap.
I still Play ESPN NFL 2k5 everyday. I update the game so it has all current Rosters. I love the NHL 2K series. Im a Big Hockey fan also. The Madden Arcade game seems cool.

let's see, it's been a long one, started off playing atari football on my 2600, then graduated to some 10 – yard fight on the NES , then one of my Favorites – Tecmo bowl and Tecmo superbowl also on the Nes , Then I played some Joe Montana Football on the genesis, mix in some NFL Blitz on the n64, there are alot more football titles i had but those stick out the most, but it wasn't til i got my ps2 that i got introduced to the holy grail of football games, Madden!!!! It's been madden ever since!!!! with a little NFL streets when i go back and play the ps2!! need to bring that back to this Gen.!!! but madden arcade looks like that will fill the void til then!!!! good luck!!!!
I played a couple basketball games on the N64, but I never truly got into sports games until NFL 2K5. I loved the game so much, but was disappointed that EA took the NFL license. I bought all of the 2K Sports games, except for hockey, that year though because they were all $20. Moved on to Madden the next year, but it wasn't as fun as 2K5 for me. I also bought NBA 2K6 and NCAA Football 06 on the Xbox. When I moved on to the then Next-Gen consoles, I bought NCAA Football 07 eventually stopped buying sports games for the next couple years until this year. This year I bought Fight Night Round 4 and NBA 2K10. I'm definitely going to consider buying more sports games in the coming years though, especially with Fight Night and maybe UFC/MMA.

I've been playing madden since my cousins introduced me to it back in 93'-94' (I was in the 2nd grade). I love the fact that everyone was so passionate and competitive when they play madden and I was hooked at an early age. I was too young to play in most tournaments so I played in at home tourneys with all comers who were will to get beat by a teenager. As the years grew so did my knowlege for the game of football and my madden game matured as well. I love the fact that patience and timing plays a big part in a successful play or a busted play. Chess match is a definate when you play against me and very few games today allow you to use you mind in advanced tactics such as madden. Thanks EA for the madden enjoyable years.

Was never a big fan of Madden, till I played NCAA and realized how bad it is and that it SHOULD be more like Madden. Now I play like crazy. Have NCAA 09 and 10. They need to just take Madden and paint college all over it. It would be a great game!
Always played other non-football sports games too, like Blitz, NHL, and occasionally Fifa.

NZ Buc here – I started sports gaming back with Madden 99, and coming from NZ I had no idea about flags and what they signified – I assumed there was an error with my Madden Cart I was using as these yellow triangular things kept popping up on screen!
When I was about 8 years old, my dad lugged out his Intellivision and popped in NFL Football. You called plays by typing in codes from the manual and were able to run by holding a number key and turning the jog wheel. It was awesome. Although the Intellivision broke, I've been playing sports games ever since. Triple Play 99', NBA Jam, Madden, and everything in between.

Sweet giveaway. Been playing sports games since NFL 94, NHL 94, NBA Showdown, NBA Jame and of course World Series Baseball. Still remember the classics like Tecmo Bowl and I really only play sports games these days.

Well my favorite game is tecmo super bowl because it had presentation injuries halftime show and when u similated u knew who won the division! Not to mention u could sim a season in 5 min! I also liked mike tyson punchout! I can still remeber the code 0073735963 but I can’t tell you none of my 4 kids social number! I started playing madden in 94 for the genesis and it was very revoluatinary at the time! So I have been getting madden every year since 95 and I haven’t stopped! Even been with a chat board called maddenforums.com and that’s where I met kev and damon! I've had just about every system since the original nintendo. About 90% of my games are sports. My favorites are the original Tecmo Bowl, the first Tecmo NBA game, and the original RBI Baseball. Noth since has topped those in the all important replay factor.
