This week, TheSportsGameGuy.com’s Damon Peterson and I discuss the recently released NHL 10, and talk about why many reviewers think that sports games need a new feature to “wow” them every year – and why they’re wrong. Sports games can be far more than just a roster update, as they’re often accused of, but the trick is displaying what’s changed to those who aren’t into the sport already. We also touch upon the latest Sony/Microsoft battleground: console bundles. With high-profile bundles for Modern Warfare 2, the latest Forza Motorsport (in Europe) and Uncharted 2, the console-makers keep slugging it out. Who wins? Well, you. Uncharted 2 will even post to Twitter for you, and we have our thoughts on whether this is a good or bad thing for the industry. Scribblenauts, one of my new favorite titles for the Nintendo DS, is definitely a good thing for the industry, and Damon brings one of his new favorites into the discussion… a bean bag.
