MLB 2K 10 360 Patch Coming Soon

2K Sports announced via Twitter that the 360 version of MLB 2K 10 has been submitted to Microsoft so as long as things go well it should be out in about 10 days or possibly sooner.  No details of what the patch addresses are available yet but I will assume that Online play is addressed and the check swing should also be in this patch.

My hope is that they address some gameplay issues especially the AI base running.  I have had multiple runners get caught off base after a play.  This has happened with both the CPU AI players and my own AI runners.

Also nothing has been mentioned about a patch for the PS3 version yet but if there are gameplay enhancements in the 360 patch I would suspect they will also push those out to the PS3 users.

MLB 2K10 Conference Call Audio

Just a short bit ago I had the chance to participate in the Major League Baseball 2K10 Conference call as the team fielding questions from members of the community.  I have posted the audio of the call and later tonight I will give some feedback and post up the questions that I sent in to be asked.

MLB 2K10 Demo Released on Xbox Live

The MLB 2K10 Demo has been released on the Xbox Live marketplace.  The PS3 demo is said to be coming on March 4th. The demo which released early this morning is three innings with the Phillies vs. Yankees. I have also attached two videos below.  One showing gameplay from MLB 2K10 and the other a comparison between MLB 2K9 and 2K10.  Let us know your thoughts and impressions of the demo.

MLB 2K10 Conferece Call Upcoming

The Sports Game Guy will be taking part in a Major League Baseball 2K10 conference call with the development team this Thursday (Feb 25th).  The team will be fielding questions from the community and answering as much as possible.  We have a few in mind but are open to suggestions if you want to leave some questions in a comment.  A recap of the call will be provided after Thursday.

Today 2K Sports confirmed that there will be no NHL 2K11 for the 360 and PS3 but they may return for 2K12. The series is not completely dead however as the Nintendo Wii will be will be receiving NHL 2K11.

Tecmo confirmed the game and released some details along with the first screenshots. The game will release sometime this spring though a specific date has yet to be confirmed.
