Retired Players to Return in Madden 10

Last week PastaPadre posted a poll asking for the community’s thoughts on EA removing retired players from it’s latest roster update.  With the overwhelming response they are going to add those players back in with an update hopefully coming before the weekend.  Check out the message from EA’s Phil Frazier below.

Over the last few days we’ve kept an eye on the poll in your story about our final roster update. Due to the overwhelming response, we are going to release another update that adds the retired players previously removed back into the game. Our fans have spoken and we’ll do our best to have this update done before the weekend. We also plan to push this update to Online Franchise shortly after it’s ready.

Battle of the Sports Game Guy Week 2: Madden NFL 10

The Battle of the Sports Game Guy is a weekly matchup between The Sports Game Guy site admins Damon Peterson and Kevin Harley. Each week an EA Sports game will be played between the two eventually crowning a champ of the best overall Sports Gamer. After the matchup a full game HD video plus their thoughts will be posted. The games played can be strongly influenced by feedback from the community.

2K Sports announced via Twitter that the 360 version of MLB 2K 10 has been submitted to Microsoft so as long as things go well it should be out in about 10 days or possibly sooner.  No details of what the patch addresses are available yet but I will assume that Online play is addressed [...]

Today 2K Sports confirmed that there will be no NHL 2K11 for the 360 and PS3 but they may return for 2K12. The series is not completely dead however as the Nintendo Wii will be will be receiving NHL 2K11.

Tecmo confirmed the game and released some details along with the first screenshots. The game will release sometime this spring though a specific date has yet to be confirmed.
