Replyjust wondering ps3 fans im a 1080p,graphic detailed guy and quest. is y the new tw pga tour 2011 in 720p and not in 1080p high def resolution
Replyjose, I'll chime in with what I've heard about 1080p. The game is not rendered in 1080p. However, it can be upscaled to 1080p. Whether it does that through an upscaling program in the game software, or through the hardware upscaling in the PS3 itself, I don't know. There's a big difference between being upscaled to 1080p versus being rendered in 1080p in my experience.
ReplyWelcome guys… I always thought 1080p would be a natural fit for a golf game. I got to asking some questions about why it hasn't been happening and it's because of the lack of RAM. If they render a golf hole in 1080p, with all the detail that one expects to see on a golf course, there's not enough RAM left for the game code to execute efficiently. It sounds like we won't be getting golf games in 1080p until the next gen.
Replythnks for agreeing with me cuz i dont like 720p at all i rather play in 1080p high def resolution also cuz i have a 1080p high def tv
ReplyOh, one other point I wanted to add to my comments above… game publishers very liberally fill in the box cover specs table with "1080p" either checked or spelled out. The game doesn't have to be rendered in 1080p to meet the criteria to indicate that, it only has to be able to be upscaled to 1080p. You'd probably have to be a Philadelphia lawyer to decipher the why's and wherefore's as to how it is legally stated, but what I do know for a fact is that the game in NOT rendered in 1080p on either the XBox 360 or the PS3.
Replydoes anyone else have anymore answers bout title of tw pga tour 2011 on 720p or 1080p resolution
